Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a global initiative that aims to challenge misconceptions about neurological differences and promote the value of neurodivergent individuals in society. It was founded by Siena Castellon, an autistic advocate with ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia. The week encourages schools, workplaces, and organizations to recognize and celebrate neurodivergent strengths while raising awareness about the challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals.

The initiative highlights conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, Tourette’s syndrome, and other neurological differences, emphasizing the importance of inclusion, acceptance, and support. Schools and businesses often participate by hosting educational events, workshops, and activities that promote understanding and allyship.
Neurodiversity Celebration Week usually takes place in March each year. In 2024, it was observed from March 18 to March 24. Would you like to know how to participate or celebrate it? Learn more at: https://www.neurodiversityweek.com/
