Denae Floyd, COTA/L

Denae Floyd is originally from Philadelphia, PA but moved to North Carolina with her family as an adolescent. She graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Durham Technical Community College with an associate degree in applied science. Denae is certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and licensed by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy. She is certified with the nationally recognized Handwriting Without Tears curriculum and with Interactive Metronome as well. Denae has experience in various populations such as mental health and geriatrics but adores pediatrics. She is very hands on and loves implementing different and enjoyable activities into her treatment sessions. Denae is a true believer in the “It takes a village…” proverb and is very committed to helping children and their families put the FUN in functional!
