Krishna Sharma, M.S., CCC-SLP

Krishna is a Speech Language Pathologist at Speak Easy Rehabilitation, PLLC. She graduated from Bangalore University, India in 2012 with a Master’s degree of Science in Communication Science and Disorders. She is a Bangalore university topper in Speech Language Pathology, 2012 and awarded with “Gold medal and First rank certificate” from Bangalore University on 48th Annual Convocation Ceremony. She was also awarded with “Nepal Bidhya Bhusan” from the president of Nepal for the same.

She is originally from Land of Himalayas, Nepal, and came to the USA in 2016. She has worked as a Speech Language Pathologist in Nepal for 5 years and worked for a year in Lumberton, NC in a mixed clinical set-up. She has several years of experience with the variety of population ranging from infants to elderly. Krishna has experience working in hospitals, skilled nursing facility, outpatient clinics for adults and pediatrics, schools, early intervention and natural home/daycare settings. Krishna is passionate in working with receptive/expressive language disorder and expert in voice disorders, fluency disorders, articulation deficits, cerebral palsy, autism, seizures/epilepsy, down syndromes, stroke/TBI and pediatric feeding. She is skilled in performing assessment and plan intervention for various speech, language and swallowing disorders, provide family/caregiver education and collaborate with intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary team.

Krishna is licensed by the Board of North Carolina and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She also holds clinical competence certificate on FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of swallowing).

Krishna now resides in Holly Springs, NC with her husband Sandeep. She enjoys working with people of various age groups of diverse community and loves to know and cherish new cultures. She likes to spend time with her family and friends. She relishes cooking and dancing.
